HOW TO USE

STEP 1: CLEAN

Mix 3–5 pumps of MIMI Hair Wash with water in your hands. Apply roots to ends and massage the scalp and hair. Rinse well. Repeat for thick, curly or coily hair.

Note: This wash does not foam — that’s the magic of plant-based ingredients.

STEP 2: TREAT

Spray MIMI Detangler Spray onto damp hair. Brush or comb through to smooth knots.

STEP 3: STYLE

Use your favourite MIMI styling products to smooth, shape or define.

Why doesn’t Mimi have a conditioner?

Mimi Hair Wash is formulated as a multi-functional product designed to replace both traditional shampoo and conditioner.

It effectively cleanses the hair and scalp while delivering hydration and nourishment through plant-based ingredients, including organic watermelon seed oil, blueberry extract, and coconut-derived actives. This supports moisture balance and helps protect hair from dryness and environmental stressors such as chlorine and outdoor exposure.

For additional conditioning and manageability, we recommend using the Detangler Spray. It assists with moisture retention, reduces tangling, and helps maintain soft, smooth, and healthy-looking hair.

Why doesn't the hair wash foam up?

Mimi Hair Wash is a low-foaming formulation, as it is free from sulphates and other harsh surfactants typically responsible for creating a high lather in traditional shampoos.

Low foam does not impact cleansing performance the formula is designed to effectively cleanse while being gentle on the scalp and hair.

For best results, we recommend emulsifying the product with a small amount of water in your hands before application. Once applied, add more water as needed and use your fingers or a scalp brush to evenly distribute the product through the scalp and hair. This will help ensure optimal coverage and performance.

Who is Mimi for?

MIMI Haircare is designed for children aged 2-12 years.

While the products can be used by individuals of any age, the formulations are specifically developed for younger scalps, which typically produce less sebum (natural oil) than adult scalps. What a difference

We purchased the basic range to tame my daughter's thick dry knotty hair. We're getting used to the fact the shampoo doesn't lather, but it smells and feels amazing. She actually enjoys getting her hair washed now. And the detangling spray and "knot-a-problem" hair brush glide through her hair like butter. So happy with the products and will definitely be back for more :)

I started using Mimi shampoo because my kids have sensitive scalps. My 3 year old went to the barber after we’d been using the shampoo for a few weeks and the barber actually asked if we’d changed shampoos because he could see how much healthier my child’s scalp was from the last visit. Very happy with the results and I will continue buying the product.

Love the creamy texture. Both my 6 year old boy and 2 year old girl are using it and it's game changing. I didn't realise how drying (= tangling!) the supermarket stuff was til we tried this

Was sceptical but worked wonders

Love this stuff! After a 72 hour stint of gastro, including a stay in a sweaty hospital bed that sported a messy knotty unbrushed bun, I was able to brush my 3 year olds hair with ease! I was prepared for lots of tears and having the cut some knots out, having had that happen to me as a kid but our routine of shampoo, detangling spray then leave in cream worked wonders!!!! Hair brushed, no tears, no drastic hair cut! Happy mum and happy daughter!!!
